Originally SportsVault did not require formal accounts for the sake of simplicity and ease of use, this enabled use to allow true open registration on league pages. As the service evolved, it became evident that user accounts would be needed and they were launched in September 2014.
If you paid an entry fee you have a basic SV profile and not a full user account. A basic profile allows us to link payments to your email address but you cannot commission a league or receive winnings until we verify you.
Commissioners and all league members will now be required to have an account starting with 2015 MLB registration. Accounts help us improve functionality, and will help you keep track of your leagues and finances.
